Autumn single release

The band are releasing Mercury Rising as a single on 29th October. The track is taken from their acclaimed 17th studio album Giants which was released in March this year. The single will be available as a 500 only limited CD release containing four tracks:

Mercury Rising (single version)/Sometimes (live)/Mercury Rising (live)/Mercury Rising (instrumental)

Gigs

Way down under Australia...

The band’s live dates for 2012 haven’t finished just yet… At the end of November, they are making a welcome return to the Antipodes for a short tour which visits New Zealand and Australia including Tasmania. They are playing a total of eight gigs, seven of which are as special guests on Blondie’s tour and they are also headlining a gig in Newcastle.

Heralding a new era for The Stranglers, In The Night was the band’s first album as a five piece following the departure of singer/ guitarist Hugh Cornwell and the addition of Paul Roberts on vocals and John Ellis on guitar.
