March On-mission accomplished!

The band played the final gig of their 19 date March On tour at the jam packed O2 Academy in Glasgow on Saturday night, a fitting end to the tour which has seen full houses across all of the shows. The mammoth trek throughtout March took them the length & breadth of the British Isles since it kicked off back in Brighton at the start of the month. Jet made appearances at many of the gigs but unfortunately his planned trip North of the border didn’t materialise due to badly timed bout of illness immediately before those final shows of the tour. Special mention to Jim Macauley who did a sterling  job behind the kit as well. Thanks to The Rezillos who were special guests for the tour and who were joined onstage during their set at Glasgow by four slightly strange looking ‘women’. Thanks too to The Membranes for joining the bill at the London and Manchester gigs. A final, extra special thanks must go to everyone who came to the gigs, many attending multiple dates through the tour and covering huge distances to see the band, some even travelling from abroad. Cheers to each and every one of you & see you all again on the road soon…
