...and more Proms promo...

Pre-Proms exposure continues… JJ was a guest on Steve Lamacq’s 6 Music Roundtable radio show tonight and you can hear the programme here. On the subject of Steve Lamacq, he was interviewed here about the BBC6 Music Prom and why he chose The Stranglers to appear. Clearly he’s quite a fan with quotes like “They were there before punk came along, and were swept up in punk, but they’ve always played around and stretched themselves – it’s not just the 12-bar boogie or the three-chord riff for them”.

JJ is also appearing on the BBC Radio 2 Arts Show with Alexei Sayle from 10pm Friday 9th August. Listen here …and there’s even a feature about The Stranglers in this week’s Radio Times magazine!
