Quick medical update...

Baz & Jim both saw the doctor on Wednesday. He confirmed that they actually had a virus rather than food poisoning as was suspected. Dosed up on medicine, both were firing on all cylinders at the gig in Cambridge that night. They are now on the mend and ready for this weekend’s gigs in Leeds & Manchester, the final dates of the tour. Thanks for your kind messages of support…

The Folkestone fish incident…

Following the premature ending to tonight’s Folkestone gig, Baz has asked us to post this message:

“A big hearty sorry for the Folkestone gig people…If you were there you’ll have seen that I wasn’t fit for purpose, but adopting the old blah ‘the show must go on’ , I felt it only fair to give it a try…my 3 colleagues dug extremely deep to cover for me and I appreciate them doing that…but I just ran out of steam…A first for me in a 35 year playing career…

I’ll make it up to you all somehow…Thanks for all your kind words “

Black And White Live compilation CD

In addition to the limited vinyl reissue of the album, we can also announce that there is a special compilation CD release entitled Black And White Live which features 17 tracks in total. The versions of every album track, plus other associated songs, have been selected from  a variety of live recordings, both electric and acoustic, from 2005 to 2014. All bar two are from the current line up of the band and most are previously unreleased. The CD also includes a live version of Old Codger from 1993 featuring the dulcet tones of Jet Black on vocal duties! In addition, having never previously been played live, the version of Enough Time was specially recorded in the studio in January 2016 during the band’s rehearsals for the upcoming tour. The CD will be available on the March tour and directly from Townsend Music soon…
